As 2023 comes to a close, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your support for Children of Cambodia. Despite another challenging year for many, your continued generosity allowed us to maintain a solid financial position, ensuring successful partnerships with our 11 schools.
January 2023 marked the foundation’s first presence in country since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic where we undertook our school distribution program. June marked our first full meeting of the commune’s and school leadership since 2019, where we held productive meetings with commune chiefs, school community leaders, and principals alike to re-connect and re-set for the future. The insights gained have shaped our priorities for a successful 2024 and beyond and allowed the foundation the opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to our partners schools and communities.
Looking ahead, in January we will commence our annual distribution program of school stationery, uniforms and bikes to students in most need. Bikes are essential for safe travel to and from school, and this festive season, we invite you to consider the gift of access to education by purchasing a bike via our annual Christmas drive. Your contribution can make a lasting impact on a child's life and growth of their community at large.
